If you edited a memory (the dashboard's Edit button, the update_memory tool
or slm update) and applied the correction, a question could no longer find
it. The old text was retired and the new text was saved, but the new text was
never added to the search index, so only exact word matches reached it until
the daemon restarted. Nothing to run after upgrading: the restart that comes
with the upgrade indexes every edit made so far.

Fixed

  • Applied corrections are indexed right away. Applying a correction now
    adds the corrected memory to the vector index, the ANN index and BM25, the
    same way remember does. A proposal that is still waiting for review stays
    out of search, as before. Saving with remember, including replaces=, was
    never affected.
