v1: caniuse-lite versions higher than 1.0.30001349 seem to cause PWA update failure

I am trying to track down a very strange bug related to PWA updates. If I allow caniuse-lite to update to higher versions than 1.0.30001349 (tested up to 1.0.30001354), something will be wrong with my pwa build:

• In the presence of an update, my PWA will load a blank screen
• There will be console messages of Uncaught SyntaxError: expected expression, got '<' and a message about MIME type (“text/html”) is not a valid JavaScript MIME type
• Reloading the page will then restore the app to latest version and no longer a blank screen

This does not happen in versions =< 1.0.30001349. There pages load normally, the user is prompted and updates/reloads are working as expected.

Is anyone else seeing anything like this happen?
