Build failures on mysql's chef gem

The MySQL native gem is failing to build currently on pythonstack. Digging into the mkmf.log, the root cause is /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmysqlclient.

@seeafish if I undo the change in your commit rackspace-cookbooks/stack_commons@d07b3dd (merged in #64), and point to my changed copy of stack_commons using a Berksfile entry, this stack builds again. Would you mind taking a look?

Just for more information, it appears the mysql gem is built for chef's ruby before mysql::client actually runs. So even though eventually mysql::client is on the runlist, it isn't converged before the gem builds (and requires libmysqlclient).

I filed a bug on it, https://github.com/opscode-cookbooks/mysql-chef_gem/issues/8. @seeafish in the mean time, perhaps reverting the stack_commons change is the right thing to do?

@martinb3 yeah there seem to several upstream issues around mysql. @jujugrrr and I discovered the Ubuntu 12.04 and mysql 5.6 issue not playing nice either, and it affects 14.04 in another way too.
It's fine to revert my change as it doesn't really have much effect on things anyway. We can even leave it in. I just thought I'd remove apparently duplicated code, as it makes troubleshooting more complex.
Since the stack_commons fix passed tests and merged, I'll just close this issue for now.
