What's new in 0.4.0

  • Compare modes for spotting alignment errors: red / cyan overlay, edge tracing, blink
  • Hold Space to see the reference alone, in any mode
  • In the overlay modes: drag moves the photo, Shift both images, Ctrl the reference

Install

  1. Download lineup_raster.zip below.
  2. QGIS → Plugins → Manage and Install Plugins → Install from ZIP.
  3. First time only, with QGIS closed: install OpenCV into the QGIS Python (Windows: double-click repair_dependencies.bat in the plugin folder; Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install python3-opencv).

First public release. Line an aerial photo up over the map by hand, then let SIFT/ORB snap it into place. Install: download lineup_raster.zip → QGIS → Plugins → Install from ZIP, then install OpenCV (see INSTALLATION.md).
