We were toggling the sidebar regardless of whether it was open or closed. This caused the back button to close the sidebar on the desktop instead of opening it (because it was already open).

@fxn sorry for the back and forth! Hopefully this is sorted out now. |

It does not seem to be working yet. The label should never be visible in desktop, closed or disclosed.
