Hide your real location from websites and report a location of your choice instead.

Highlights

• Search any place on the map, press Fix, and websites receive that location.
• Your real location is never exposed: the override runs before any website script, and requests wait until your settings are loaded.
• Live location (watchPosition) works, and the permission check reports "granted".
• The map falls back to another tile provider if one is blocked, and shows a clear message if no tiles can load.
• Full place name in English (area, city, state, country).
• About page with developer details and the Privacy Policy inside the popup.
• New icons. Only the "storage" permission is used.
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.

• location-guard-bsrpro-firefox-v1.2.2.zip — Firefox (version 128 or newer)

Install from the zip

• Chrome / Edge / Brave: unzip, open the extensions page, turn on Developer mode, click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder.
• Firefox: open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox and choose "Load Temporary Add-on" with the Firefox zip.

Good to know

• Only the browser's location feature is changed. Your IP address is not hidden.
• Does not run on browser-internal pages.
