Upgrade notes

  • HF_HOME is now honoured: the embedding model downloads into $HF_HOME/hub (empty HF_HOME counts as unset; the default stays ~/.cache/huggingface/hub). The HuggingFace access token is read from the same place, $HF_HOME/token, so move or copy the token file when you set HF_HOME. Use an absolute, user-owned path; a relative value resolves against the working directory.
