Changes

• Preserve unsaved Office edits during readonly and close-control updates; handle delayed modern editors, legacy acknowledgements and cancellation safely.
• Add responsive PDF canvases with bounded per-page resolution and optional pdf-mode="virtual" / pdfMode rendering for long documents.
• Expose the full TypeScript custom element API and safe manual-constructor narrowing.
• Remove the unused ranui production dependency and obsolete style transformer.
• Clean up demo-owned Blob URLs and clarify access by the configured Office iframe.
• Verify source-tag inputs and immutable artifact integrity; safely skip matching-version publish retries.

Compatibility

Automatic registration, existing ESM/UMD entry points and editable Office defaults are preserved. PDF defaults to eager rendering: load still means all pages are painted. Virtual mode is opt-in; its load means the first viewport and buffer are ready. Its worker stays active until the preview closes or is replaced/removed. Large pages may render at lower resolution to enforce per-page pixel limits.

Validation

144 Chromium/Firefox/WebKit regressions, 44 release-helper tests, strict TypeScript, formatting, ESM/UMD/declaration builds, and real installed-package checks passed. Installed manual/ESM/UMD entries exercise eager and virtual PDF pixels, fonts/assets, scrolling and cleanup. Live remote DOCX edit retention/export and PPTX readonly transitions passed.
