Font Feature Settings mixin

About

font-feature-settings() is a Sass mixin for enabling OpenType features via CSS. Support for these features varies based on browser and also based on the fonts that you've chosen to use. Only OpenType (.otf) fonts have support for font features.

===

Usage

SASS syntax:

// Import the rem partial
@import "my-partials-path/font-feature-settings"

// Pass a Sass list of features into the mixin to enable those features
table.accounting-style
  +font-feature-settings(lnum tnum)

SCSS syntax:

// Import the rem partial
@import "my-partials-path/font-feature-settings";

// Pass a Sass list of features into the mixin to enable those features
table.accounting-style {
  @include font-feature-settings(lnum tnum);
}

The following CSS will be produced:

table.accounting-style {
  -moz-font-feature-settings: "lnum" 1, "tnum" 1;
  -moz-font-feature-settings: "lnum=1", "tnum=1";
  -ms-font-feature-settings: "lnum" 1, "tnum" 1;
  -o-font-feature-settings: "lnum" 1, "tnum" 1;
  -webkit-font-feature-settings: "lnum" 1, "tnum" 1;
  font-feature-settings: "lnum" 1, "tnum" 1;
}
