When looking at the test code I felt it needed some love.

This is what I changed:

  • Extracted logic into re-usable functions
  • Made everything use ES6 syntax
  • Tightened up dependency imports
  • Re-named tests to be more descriptive

In this commit I cleaned up the test code by doing the following:
* Extracted logic into re-usable functions
* Made everything use ES6 syntax
* Tightened up dependency imports
* Re-named tests to be more descriptive
