🐞[Bug/UI]: White gaps in corner areas instead of grey background

Describe the bug

There are white gaps/spaces appearing in the corner areas of the layout where the grey background should extend. The background color is not properly filling these corner regions.

Expected behavior

The entire background in these corner areas should be grey, matching the rest of the background color scheme.
