Fixes

Fix incorrect patch level comparison by @p-x9

  • Previously, versions were compared as strings, which caused cases like 1.12.3 vs 1.2.3 not to be recognized correctly as a newer version. As a result, certain patch-level updates were not triggering a forced update as intended. Now, version strings are properly parsed into numeric values (major, minor, patch) before comparison. This ensures that if a newer version is available, the forced update process behaves consistently for all types of updates (major, minor, and patch).

Refactors

Refactoring to put example project outside of Source by @reeen21

  • example project is moved to the package root since it is not necessary to place it in Source.
