First public release.

Counts visits from known AI crawlers (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Googlebot and more) and reports daily totals to your Referenced account.

  • Records no visitor data: no IP addresses, cookies or user accounts. One small table of per-crawler counts.
  • Nothing is sent until you save a connection token.
  • Settings screen under Settings → Referenced, a dashboard widget and a connect notice.

Install: download referenced-ai-crawler-tracking.zip below, then Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in WordPress, activate it, and paste your token under Settings → Referenced. Full steps are in the README.
