Vicu 2.6.1

Vicu 2.6.1 lets you sign in with an identity provider that asks for a passkey, such as Pocket ID, on macOS and Linux. Update the phone app to 2.6.1 at the same time: it does the same.

Fixes

  • Sign in with a passkey. On macOS and Linux, identity providers that sign in with a passkey, such as Pocket ID, could not finish in Vicu's sign-in window: it kept loading or said "An unknown error occurred". Vicu now notices the passkey request, closes the window and offers to sign in through your browser, where passkeys work. Uses a passkey? Sign in through your browser is also on the sign-in screen, and Vicu remembers which way you used when it asks you to sign in again. Windows was not affected: Windows Hello handles passkeys there.
  • The browser sign-in needs one setting at your provider: add the redirect address the sign-in screen shows (it has a Copy button) to Vikunja's client there.
