Orrery 0.1.0

First release of Orrery, a fast, tiny 3D model viewer for FBX, glTF and GLB on Windows.

Highlights

• Opens FBX 7.x, glTF and GLB; drag and drop to switch models
• Orbit / pan / zoom, auto-framing, studio lighting, grid, wireframe, light/dark background
• Animation playback (scrubber, speed, loop) and adding clips from another file by bone name
• Embedded and external textures, including TGA; missing textures are listed
• Works offline; no network access; read-only file access limited to the model and its textures

Install

1. Download orrery-0.1.0-windows-x64.zip and unzip it to a folder you keep.
2. Optional: run register.ps1 (per-user, no admin) to add Orrery to "Open with" for .fbx, .glb and .gltf.
3. Right-click a model file → Open with → Choose another app → Orrery → Always.

Requires WebView2 (preinstalled on Windows 10/11). The exe is not code-signed, so SmartScreen may warn: choose "More info" → "Run anyway".
