v0.2.3: Fix black formatting and add comprehensive linting tests

- Fix black formatting issues in test_api.py and test_linting.py
- Add comprehensive linting test suite (test_linting.py) with:
  - Black formatting checks (fails early if code needs formatting)
  - isort import sorting checks
  - flake8 linting checks
  - mypy type checking (with Windows skip for CI stability)
  - Project structure validation
  - Debug statement detection (catches pdb, breakpoint, DEBUG prints)
- All 47 tests now passing with 92% coverage
- Linting issues caught early in local test runs
- Provides clear error messages with fix instructions
