About

Installation profiles keep track of the installed packages as part of your unique RetroNAS setup, everytime a package in installed the default profile <retronas path>/config/retronas_packages.ini is updated

There is a new menu available under the Config menu that will let you replay a profile, reinstalling all packages with one run.

Profiles can be named almost anything (although no spaces), and we support multiple profiles so you could for example setup a "MiSTer and PS2" profile and call it mister_ps2.ini alongside other profiles.

Example

An example profile follows as generated by RetroNAS

[general]
title = RetroNAS Packages
author = Generated by RetroNAS
last_updated = 2022-08-25
[package]
aria2 = present
samba = present
romdir = present
extradirs = present
batocera_cifs = present

TODO

There is no optimisation, this will play each playbook as listed in the profile and may result in double runs for dependant playbooks and will lead to extended installation times.
