Fixed

• Photos and stickers stopped downloading since WhatsApp Web's October update (it now requires the file type when downloading). Failed downloads are retried automatically when WhatsApp offers them again, and you can tap Retry on older ones.

New: send messages

• Message box in every chat: text, or attach a photo, video or any file up to 64 MB (the text becomes its caption).
• Voice messages (Android 10+; asks for the microphone the first time).
• Long-press a message for reactions, Reply, Copy text, Edit (your own, within 15 minutes) and Delete for everyone.
• New chat with any phone number: + above the chat list.
• Read receipts are only sent if you turn them on (Settings → Logging). Replying marks the chat as read, like WhatsApp.
• What you send is logged like everything else.
• The chat stays at the newest message while typing and after sending.

Not possible: calls

Android's WebView can't run WhatsApp Web's calling (it needs SharedArrayBuffer, which WebView never enables), so calls still ring only in WhatsApp on your phone.

• Sending was tested end to end on an Android 17 emulator against a simulated WhatsApp Web (debug and minified builds), not yet with a real account.
