Thanks for submitting - I haven't used pygments in a while - is .highlight something that's standard now? I see that when I re-run without the -a flag it no longer has the .codehilite class applied.

I think pygments doesn't have default class, but most Jekyll markdown will use .highlight class.

It looks like pygments does now wrap its container with the class highlight by default and uses higlighttable for the table format -- see cssclass in that section. Maybe that should be reflected here?

FWIW I'm using Pygments 2.2.0 currently to highlight with Hugo and my output pre has the highlight class. It's not clear to me if Hugo is adding it to make it easier for Jekyll ports or if it's a Pygments default, though I'm guessing the prior.
