Framewise Web V2 UI — feedback preview 1
Try the hosted web app: https://framewise-v2-presets-demo.ripleyjene.chatgpt.site/
Compare with Web V1: https://framewise-v1-demo.ripleyjene.chatgpt.site/
This preview puts task presets on the first screen. Choose Other to describe a task in a text box. The rest of the guided browser workflow remains available. This is a hosted web UI preview, not the native-engine Mac app; there is no installer or separate binary asset in this release.
Browser memory: Conversion runs on your computer and may need several times the input file size in memory. Large files, 4K video, and big batches can slow or freeze a tab. Start with a small file and use desktop FFmpeg for larger jobs. The browser engine downloads on first use (about 31 MB).
Please try the same small task in both versions and send feedback through https://github.com/ripscreates/framewise/issues/new/choose. Include your browser and operating system, which version you tried first, which start felt clearer, where you hesitated, and whether the result downloaded and played. These links do not randomly assign visitors or collect comparison analytics.
Framewise V2 Developer Preview 1
Framewise V2 Developer Preview 1
This is an early Apple Silicon desktop preview of Framewise. The app is a Tauri desktop shell around the guided Framewise interface.
Download and install
- Download
Framewise_2.0.0_aarch64.dmgbelow. - Requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 12 or newer. Intel Macs are not supported.
- Open the DMG, drag Framewise to Applications, then eject the DMG.
- The app uses an ad-hoc signature and is not notarized. If macOS blocks it, follow Apple's Open Anyway instructions only if you trust this download from the official Framewise GitHub repository.
Known preview limits
- This build does not include the planned native FFmpeg executable. It uses FFmpeg WebAssembly and downloads the engine from unpkg when first needed; an internet connection is required.
- The bundled/system FFmpeg choice, engine compatibility checks, native file/output handling, and update workflow are still in development.
- The DMG and app signature were verified. This package has not been validated on a clean Mac, and an end-to-end media conversion was not checked in this packaging pass. Use copies of media files while evaluating it.
- Framewise's source is MIT-licensed. The WebAssembly FFmpeg core is a separate third-party component; see the repository README's licensing section for its license information.
