A major update that redesigns the notch with a feature bar, a paginated idle view,
built-in file conversion, and per-date calendar notes.

Highlights

File conversion

• Drag a PDF, DOC, or DOCX file onto the notch to convert it directly
  (PDF → DOCX, DOC/DOCX → PDF), saved to your Downloads folder.
• Inline status and progress popup instead of a separate conversion window.
• Scanned PDFs without a text layer are detected and reported.
• PDF bookmarks now survive DOCX → PDF round-trips correctly.
• Legacy DOC files are supported with a formatting warning.

Paginated idle view

• The expanded idle state now has three pages, navigated with the mouse wheel:
  • Calendar a 7-day strip centered on today, with month/year and clock.
  • Last media artwork, playback controls, and seek slider for the most
    recently played track, kept after the session ends.
  • Metrics CPU, RAM, disk, and battery bars.
• Pages slide in and out with an animated transition.

Calendar notes

• Click any date to create, edit, or delete a note.
• Dates with notes show an indicator dot and a clean hover preview.
• Today is highlighted, turning into a solid blue circle when it has a note.
• Shift + scroll to navigate between dates.

UI & UX

• New bottom feature bar with active indicators and mutual exclusion.
• The feature bar animates outward from the center logo icon.
• Clicking the Notchi logo restarts the application.
• Notes, file shelf, and settings popups are now draggable.
• Windows remember their last position and snap magnetically to screen edges.
• The note window can be resized manually.
• Chrome media source uses a red accent gradient.
• The app icon is now embedded as a project resource.

Changes

• System metrics are always visible when expanded; the per-metric visibility
  toggles have been removed from Settings.

• Download NotchiSetup-x64.exe and run it.
• Per-user install, no administrator privileges required.
• Requires Windows 10 build 19041+ or Windows 11, x64.
