Added -a, --active-only flag to config-manager pull secrets, allowing users to export only active secrets. (PR #695)
Introduced commands for direct control of configuration management: config-manager-direct-control-abort, config-manager-direct-control-apply, config-manager-direct-control-init, and config-manager-direct-control-state. These commands facilitate direct control over configuration management processes. (PR #693)
Added config-manager pull and push metadata commands, enabling the pulling and pushing of configuration metadata. (PR #692)
Added config-manager push saml command, enabling the pushing of SAML configurations. (PR #689)
frodo mcp server start's startup summary (--dry-run output and the live startup.configuration debug log lines alike) now includes the external-IDP issuer, audience, and the full claims-config mapping table (claim value → service account name, never any secret) whenever --external-idp-issuer is configured — previously none of that appeared anywhere in startup output, making it hard to confirm the intended settings actually took effect.
Added --public-url <url> to frodo mcp server start, overriding the RFC 9728 resource value advertised in OAuth 2.1 resource-server ("shared mode") discovery metadata for cases that can't self-correct via the fix below — chiefly a reverse proxy or TLS-terminating gateway in front of the process, where the externally-reachable URL genuinely differs from anything the process itself can observe.
Added --registered-client-id <client-id> to frodo mcp server start --oauth-resource-server, enabling the server to act as a lightweight OAuth proxy for specific endpoints on behalf of a pre-provisioned, public client_id. This is necessary for authorization servers that don't support Dynamic Client Registration or require an initial access token to use it. (commit 8acf5c9)
Introduced --oauth-scope <scope...> to frodo mcp server start --oauth-resource-server, specifying the OAuth scopes a connecting client should request. This is advertised via the RFC 9728 protected-resource metadata and the WWW-Authenticate 401 challenge's scope parameter. (commit 790b398)
Added --oauth-forward-resource to frodo mcp server start, allowing the forwarding of the RFC 8707 resource parameter to authorization servers that support it. (commit 1266a40)
Changed
frodo mcp server start's startup summary now includes the external-IDP issuer, audience, and the full claims-config mapping table when --external-idp-issuer is configured. This enhances the visibility of the intended settings. (commit 46c1cfe)
Fixed
Fixed frodo conn service-account add failing with "Invalid URL" when the target host was given as an alias or unique substring instead of a full URL. Root cause: it validates the new service account's own credential against AM before saving, and that validation step reads the target host from ambient library state, which is only ever set to the raw value typed on the command line — nothing in this command resolves an alias to a real URL the way logging in normally does as a side effect. Every other command in this family already resolved it internally per-call; only the validation step read the unresolved raw value.
Fixed frodo mcp server start --dry-run never validating --claims-config when external-IDP mode is configured — a malformed or unparseable claims-config file previously went undetected by --dry-run, since that file was only ever loaded later, in code a dry run never reaches.
Fixed frodo mcp server start --oauth-resource-server's discovery metadata (and the resource_metadata URL in its 401 challenges) always advertising itself at --bind-host verbatim, e.g. literally http://0.0.0.0:<port>/mcp when bound to a wildcard interface for remote reachability (the documented way to expose the HTTP transport beyond one machine) — an address nothing can actually dial, which MCP clients correctly refuse to proceed against as a resource-identifier mismatch. Now derived per-request from the request's own Host header once confirmed against the same allow-list already used for DNS-rebinding protection (falling back to the --bind-host-derived value for a missing/unrecognized Host, never advertising an unvalidated one), with the scheme upgraded to https when X-Forwarded-Proto says so on a non-loopback bind. See --public-url above for the one case this can't self-correct.
Fixed frodo mcp server start --dry-run not validating --claims-config when external-IDP mode is configured. A malformed claims-config file is now detected during a dry run. (commit 46c1cfe)
Fixed frodo mcp server start --oauth-resource-server's discovery metadata advertising itself at --bind-host verbatim, which could lead to resource-identifier mismatches. The advertised URL is now derived from the request's Host header. (commit 0f7239a)
Fixed --registered-client-id's proxy relaying the RFC 8707 resource parameter to upstream authorization servers, which could break the flow against servers not implementing RFC 8707. The resource parameter is now stripped before forwarding. (commit 940deff)
Improved error handling in OAuth flows by diagnosing external-IDP OAuth failures instead of masking them. (commit be9483d)
