Hi!

Nice project. I'd like to help bring it up to a more useable status.

Debugged the lanes code in the word count example to get it to
execute under Debian GNU/Linux.

Added references to the lua lanes dependency to the readme.

Added information about how to install the lua dependencies
under Debian GNU/Linux.

Thanks for the patch. What was the problem executing word-count example under Debian Linux? I had tested on Ubuntu Linux and worked fine.

The new code has a dependency using lanes which wasn't in the README and when setting -n 1 in the client the function was missing the host and port parameters.
It doesn't run with more than 1 processor at my end (yet). It says something about connection refused.
Will give that a try next. Do you want me to open an issue for that?
