CodeTerm 1.10.21

Merges develop into master for the 1.10.21 release.

Highlights

  • Global Analytics. A default-enabled core Analytics plugin opens from a titlebar button: machine-wide tokens over time, tiles for new input, generated, cache and turns, tabs created, breakdowns by provider and model, workspace, team and plan, filters, and per-provider allowance. It reads only the provider-neutral host.analytics capability. Unrecorded days are hatched and never drawn as zero.
  • Live Analytics and Board figures. Analytics and the Mission Control Board re-query when the KPI ledger records rows (kpi-recorded), coalesced to one read per frame, deferred while hidden. A changed figure gets one quiet highlight, skipped under reduced motion. The Refresh button is gone; the "as of" caption stays. The Board Spend card now reads tokens only; allowance percentages live in Analytics.
  • Telegram per-agent topics. A tab's notifications and codeterm bridge send go to that tab's own Telegram topic, named after the tab, with a sender header (title, role, workspace, machine) and a one-tap pointer in the main chat. Messages in a topic, or replies to a tab's message, route to that tab; the main chat stays the General Agent. codeterm bridge thread open [--tab] and the tab menu open a topic on demand (only the tab itself or the General Agent may open one). Closing the tab deletes its topic. Without topics the bot falls back to the main chat and says once how to enable them.
  • Pebble ring to any tab. Plugins can contribute tab menu items (capabilities.tabMenu), and a webhook receiver's events go to a host-owned, persisted target tab, falling back to the General Agent when the tab is gone. Pebble 0.2.0 ships the Connect Pebble ring item and shows the webhook URL, header and masked token with copy buttons on its plugin page. View plugins now embed their UI on their plugin page.
  • Claude sub-agents. Claude Agent calls render as one sub-agent card with state, model, duration, tool uses and tokens, and sidechain usage is ingested once into the KPI ledger with honest attribution.
  • General section survives a webview reload. The store now issues its first authoritative read only after the state listener binds, and a refused busy snapshot wakes the listener once the snapshot is readable.
  • Mid-turn chat messages stay in place. A message sent while the agent works is an ordinary bubble at its send position; later output appears below it, and switching tabs away and back keeps the same order.
  • Plugin-shipped icons. A plugin can ship its own icon.svg. The host loads it once from the plugin folder, sanitizes it to a closed SVG allowlist (shapes only, currentColor or none, no scripts, styles, links or external references, 8 KiB cap) and falls back to the generic icon. The same icon renders in the Plugins list and detail, on plugin tab menu items and on plugin-originated chat messages; the bundled providers now ship theirs as icon.svg. Pebble 0.2.0 ships a ring.
  • Plugin pinning removed. No plugin can be pinned to the titlebar; a legacy pinned plugin setting is dropped on the next config write.
  • Narrow titlebar. At phone width the notification bell and Analytics button are no longer clipped out of view.

Known issues

  • On Windows a restored Codex resume command can still be lost right after a fresh PowerShell prompt, and a send to a restored tab before its session binds can be lost. Both proposals touch the protected PTY input path and are deferred by the owner.

Verification

  • Canonical focused gates on Windows, per merged lane: analytics host 9/9 and Analytics vitest; KPI 48/48, parity and sub-agent tests; Telegram topics 24/24, notification 155/155, CLI thread and manifest/docs freshness; receiver target 16/16, inbound webhook 28/28, messenger 35/35, plugin manifest and hot reload; reload hydration and multiplexer store suites; chat timeline, transcript, reactivation and scroll stability; Extensions, tray and tab menu suites; tsc, rustfmt, the file-size gate.
  • Live on dev 7686: Analytics dashboard at desktop and 390px widths and figures updating after an agent turn; Pebble receiver target bind, delivery, reset and close fallback with the real webhook route; Telegram topic open, idempotent reopen, inbound routing to the tab and topic deletion with the real bot; 30 of 30 webview reloads keep the General section; chat order after a mid-conversation send and a tab round trip; no pin controls after the pinning removal.
  • Not exercised live: the Board figure highlight under a team plan, the Telegram topics-disabled fallback and kebab menu actions, a message consumed as a queued command inside a still-running Claude turn. Unit and fixture tests cover them.
