Попередній випуск. Зібрано й перевірено на імітаторах і в браузері, але ще не на годиннику. Про помилки — у Issues з журналом подій (сторінка System).

Перший випуск Informer Clock UA — незалежної прошивки з повним вихідним кодом для годинника-інформера на ESP32 і MAX7219, заснованої на Clock Informer 2.7.1 автора Semen_p.

Навіщо. Вихідний код прошивки Clock Informer не опублікований — автор поширює лише готові файли .bin, тож власник годинника не може сам змінити прошивку чи виправити помилку, яку автор не виправляє. Тут вихідний код відтворено з машинного коду 2.7.1 й опубліковано повністю, з поясненнями: прошивку можна самому зібрати, змінити й виправити. Докладно — навіщо цей проєкт.

Як прошити

Перехід із прошивки автора Clock Informer — оновлення без стирання: Wi-Fi і всі налаштування зберігаються (таблиця розділів та сама). Далі оновлення приходять по мережі з цього репозиторію.

Виправлено: зависання без інтернету й «годинник не видно в мережі», зайві перепідключення Wi-Fi, падіння через DNS ядра, з'єднання HTTPS без тайм-ауту, службові задачі, що чекали кінця прокрутки новин, «стрибки» часу після перезапуску, літній час, голос щогодини без години, будильник при темному табло, кнопка, що не вимикала мелодію, табло, що світило вночі після повідомлення, зайва точка о 9:59→10:00, старий інтерфейс із кешу, паролі Wi-Fi у консолі.

Нове: стан запуску на табло (і на двох поверхах), плавна яскравість за датчиком світла, нічна тиша, літній час «Авто» (правила ЄС), час після перезапуску без інтернету, налагодження по Wi-Fi (журнал на порту 23, прошивка по Wi-Fi), причина аварії в журналі подій, сторож головного циклу.

The first release of Informer Clock UA — independent firmware with full source code for the ESP32 + MAX7219 information clock, based on Clock Informer 2.7.1 by Semen_p.

Why. The source code of the Clock Informer firmware is not published — the author distributes only ready-made .bin files, so a clock owner cannot change the firmware or fix a bug the author does not fix. Here the source code has been reconstructed from the 2.7.1 machine code and published in full, with explanations: you can build, change and fix the firmware yourself. Switching from the original Clock Informer firmware is an update without erasing: Wi-Fi and all settings are kept (same partition table). After that, updates come over the network from this repository.

Fixed: hangs without internet and the clock dropping off the network, needless Wi-Fi reconnects, crashes caused by the core's DNS, HTTPS connects without timeouts, service tasks waiting for news scrolling, time jumps after restarts, summer time, the hourly voice without the hour, alarms with the display off, the button not stopping the melody, the display staying on at night after a message, a stray dot at 9:59→10:00, a stale cached interface, Wi-Fi passwords in the console.

New: start-up status on the display (also on two floors), smooth light-sensor brightness, night quiet, “Auto” summer time (EU rules), time after a restart without internet, Wi-Fi debugging (log on port 23, firmware upload over Wi-Fi), crash cause in the event log, a main-loop watchdog.

These archives were made by the author of the original Clock Informer clock — Semen_p — licensed CC BY-NC 4.0. They are re-hosted here unchanged so that the Informer Clock UA web interface (“Update” → “Download”) does not depend on the author's server.
