Problem with Perl lexer in new release 5.1.0

Hi,
I’ve noticed that with the release of version 5.1.0, Perl lexer has broken, specifically, the // operator is now being interpreted as a regex, and all code following // is highlighted as a regex. This issue did not exist in version 5.0.0; I discovered it after updating GitLab to version 19.5.1
Example:

my $x = $y // $z;
my $w = 1;
