Gnomon 1.5.3
Gnomon is a small always-on-top clock with seconds, for timing sessions over a video call without looking away from the camera.
New in 1.5.3: Open at Login. Right-click the clock and tick it, and Gnomon starts every time you log in. Click it again to turn it off. (macOS 13 and newer. On macOS 12, add Gnomon to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items.)
Requires a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 12 or newer.

Gnomon 1.5.2
Gnomon is a small always-on-top clock with seconds, for timing sessions over a video call without looking away from the camera.
New in 1.5.2: fixes to the session alert.
- An end time typed in the wrong half of the day is now read the way it was meant. At 11:30 a.m., typing 12:20 sets 12:20 p.m., even if the form still says AM. (Before, it quietly set 12:20 a.m. and the session got no alert.)
- Opening Session Alert while the red end flash is running now offers the next session, rather than the one that just ended.
- If Gnomon is restarted during the end flash, the flash carries on.
Requires a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 12 or newer.
Install: download Gnomon.dmg (or Gnomon-1.5.2.dmg, the same file) below, open it, and drag Gnomon to Applications. The clock appears at the top centre of the screen. Drag it wherever you like; right-click it for everything else (colours, fonts, size, session alert, Quit). To update, quit Gnomon and replace the old copy.
The app is signed and notarized by Apple. It makes no network connections and collects nothing.
