Orey v0.2.0: Configurable Themes & Resize Listener Stability
This release introduces configurable terminal themes with live previews, persistent selections, and theme-aware styling across Orey’s terminal interface. It also fixes repeated OpenTUI resize listener registration that could produce memory leak warnings when opening older sessions.
Configurable Terminal Themes
- Built-in Themes: Added Monochrome, Neon, Ocean, Forest, and Sunset themes.
- Theme Selector: Added the
/themecommand for choosing themes from the home screen or inside a session. - Live Preview: Themes update immediately while navigating the selector with the arrow keys or mouse.
- Persistent Selection: Pressing Enter saves the selected theme to
~/.orey/config.json. Closing the selector without confirming restores the previously saved theme. - Centralized Theme Tokens: Theme colors are applied consistently to backgrounds, inputs, dialogs, menus, markdown responses, syntax highlighting, notifications, approvals, and status indicators.
Runtime Stability
- Resize Listener Fix: Centralized terminal dimension tracking so the application registers one OpenTUI resize listener instead of one listener per message, reasoning block, dialog, or toast.
- Older Session Stability: Prevents repeated resize listener registrations from triggering memory leak warnings when loading sessions with many messages.
