In the 2018-02-06 meeting, @frewsxcv mentioned https://thenounproject.com/ for trying to get icons.

Usage of the noun-project leaves us with having to link to the source of the image. Or we could buy a license for it, but if we sell anything with the logo on it (e.g. T-shirts), we'd have to pay $2/100 copies for doing so.

It might be better to commission somebody to draw a logo for the Rust project's usage to avoid the legal mess?

The Noun Project does have public domain licensed images, but I don't know of a way to filter by license

Discussion in the docs team meeting today ended with nobody being against a commission and @steveklabnik planning on asking Karen (who created Ferris).
