0.5.x branch switch to latest windows crate?

Would a PR switching the 0.5.x branch to the latest version of the windows crate be accepted, analogous to #579 ? It'd be nice for projects depending on socket2 0.5 to be able to use a newer version of the windows crate.

I'm afraid that's not possible, see #526. Starting from v0.6.x we can though :) (if I ever get to releasing it 😅)

Closing this as we can't do much for v0.5 and v0.6 has just been released: https://crates.io/crates/socket2/0.6.0.
