Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to mention the project Aladin Lite in the week in Rust. It is a scientific web application to view TBs of astronomical data in the sky coming from many spatial missions (Hubble, JWST, Vera Rubin and others). It heavily uses Rust for the rendering part. It offers a JS API wrapping a Rust core that has been compiled to WASM thanks to wasm-bindgen.

Many thanks,

Hi @bmatthieu3 - this looks super cool! Would you mind adding some mention of Rust to the page that is linked? It's not immediately clear that it is a Rust project (though this is apparent from the github repo linked from that page).

Hi @nellshamrell - Of course. I just changed the documentation page I linked for the news to mention Rust and the very good crates we are using that makes Aladin Lite possible.

ty! for this, since it was from last week the change is in the wrong draft file now and the merge conflict is too complex for the gh web ui (or so it says). I'll toss your link in the new draft before publishing.
