"Gaps between windows" not saving or working...

I am new to Rectangle Pro, and one of the reasons I need a 3rd party windows management solution on my Macs, is that Apple's built-in solution snaps completely to the edge. I want windows with a tiny space between them, and a tiny space between the window and edge.

The solution is obviously "Gaps between windows" and I have tried setting that to 10, 20, 30px, but once I close the settings menu, it goes back to 0px. Every single time.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for letting me know. Do you have Sync configuration over iCloud checked? If so, I might have a bug with the sync and a workaround would be to uncheck that. I can't think of anything else that might cause something like this.

I do not have Configuration over iCloud checked…

I’ll try and install on my Mac Studio and see how it works on in. Today was on my MacBook Pro with two external monitors connected. My MS also has a few monitors, and they are both running macOS Golden Gate Beta 3. Have you tested with GG?

Oh, turns out this is indeed an issue with the Golden Gate Beta. I suspect this will be fixed by Apple in a subsequent beta, but if not I’ll investigate further.

Small observation;

When installed on a macOS Tahoe Mac Pro, with iCloud sync enabled, it saves the "Gaps between windows" works as perscribed. When I then sync these settings over iCloud to a Mac on macOS Golden Gate Beta, the settings work as well...

I can't change the setting on the Golden Gate Mac, but I can change the setting on the Tahoe one, and it will sync fine to the Golden Gate one.
