QSOrouter 1.5.4

@s55oo s55oo released this 21 Oct 11:03

QSOrouter 1.5.3

Changes

  • Compact status bar: the last QSO's callsign and UTC time are now shown in bold.
  • Fix: GUI edits made after clicking Save config were not auto-saved when the app was closed. Save config now updates the baseline the close-time check compares against.
  • Docs: README review fixes, covering the status-dot description, JSON config fields (name, the dxlog alias, single adif output), autostart, local build steps, the Windows batch example and the architecture diagram. QSOrouter.json.example now includes the N1MM/DXLog input on port 12060.

Download

QSOrouter.exe is a standalone Windows executable (no Python needed), built by GitHub Actions with the PyInstaller bootloader compiled from source to avoid antivirus false positives. Keep QSOrouter.json in the same folder as the EXE.

Fixed

  • FT4 (and FST4/Q65/...) QSOs posted twice to Wavelog/CQ Radio/HTTP outputs, while FT8 posted correctly. WSJT-X sends both a QSOLogged (binary) and a LoggedADIF (text) UDP message per logged QSO, and the router deduplicates the pair by matching call+date+mode+frequency. That worked for FT8 (both messages agree the mode is FT8), but WSJT-X's own ADIF text wraps FT4/FST4/Q65/etc. as MODE=MFSK SUBMODE=FT4 (older ADIF-spec compatibility) while the binary message just reports FT4 directly - so the dedup key saw FT4 vs MFSK, didn't match, and let the second message through as a "new" QSO.
    • The dedup key now prefers SUBMODE over MODE when present, so both encodings resolve to the same value.

Grab QSOrouter.exe below - no install, no Python needed. QSOrouter.json.example is a sanitized demo config (no real API keys, standard 127.0.0.1/placeholder addresses) - copy it to QSOrouter.json next to the exe as a starting point.

Note: this project was renamed from WsjtxLogRouter to QSOrouter; see README.
