⚠ BREAKING CHANGES

  • the desktop entry, AppStream component, Flatpak app and macOS bundle are now com.sanchezfauste.FaustePlayer. A Flatpak bundle installs as a new application: move ~/.var/app/org.fauste.FaustePlayer to ~/.var/app/com.sanchezfauste.FaustePlayer to keep its state (see the user guide). Pinned launchers point at the old desktop entry.

Documentation

Build System

  • declare the old application ID as replaced (2b9352f)
  • flatpak: move to the freedesktop 26.08 runtime (5f4e245)
  • rename the application ID to com.sanchezfauste.FaustePlayer (72c8fd1)

Unsigned installers

  • the Windows installer (SmartScreen warns about an unknown publisher)
  • the macOS app (not signed or notarised: macOS asks before its first start)
