Personally, I don't need the clock or date on the home screen since it's on my lock screen. I also don't really use the phone or camera shortcuts found in the lower left and right hand corners. I think having the option to hide these items would be great.

Hi. Ok, this seems like fun. For the current release, it might be actionable. Also would you please clone the repo, run the code on the develop branch. Does nothing yet, but I want your opinion on how we'd utilize some extra space that would be available given this feature request is implemented there

I would like to hide the phone and camera icons found in the bottom corner of the screen. I installed this on a Sony NW-A306 music player, which doesn't have a phone or camera at all.

It really would have been smarter to check for the feature before we displayed the button 🤣
