Description

When a user on Second Life Test 7.2.2.17662967096 (64bit), who is also using Apple silicon changes their audio input and output device for voice chat to a non-Default value, the change has no effect.

Reproduction steps

  1. Login with the viewer and connect to voice chat in a webRTC region
  2. Engage in voice chat with another user
  3. Open Preferences -> Sound & Media -> Voice input and output devices
  4. Change both the Input and Output dropdowns to a different device than before
  5. Hit "OK" to apply
  6. Engage in voice chat with another user; observe if the settings from (4) are respected

Expected results:
The new audio and input devices from (4) should take effect when applied.

Actual results:
The same audio devices are used in steps (2) and (6). In my particular cases, the original devices were "Default", and my system default is to use a USB headset for both input and output. I tried changing the device to the built-in speakers and microphone in step (4), but this had no effect.
