Cull outdated issues #949
Description
Some old issues (our open issues go back to 2019) are out-of-date and irrelevant. Cull through the issues to find these, close those that are obviously no longer relevant, and bring back a list of unclear cases to the group.
Doesn't have anything to do with the next release, but adding it to the project for tracking purposes.
