Please see the official documentation of the Sequana projects: https://sequana.readthedocs.io/en/master/faqs.html
In general, a 4Gb memory is enough to analyse most experiments. Yet, on recent very large runs with 700 samples, we had memory issue when using multiqc plugin v1.9 . We had to increase the memory to 128Gb. This is unfortunate and will probably be fixed in future version but is independent of the pipeline for now.
