Highlights
Changed
- The loading screen paints and reports startup before loading the React application; a broken
application bundle shows a reloadable error instead of leaving the logo stuck. - The window opens without waiting for the database: the connection is made beside the start, so the
loading page appears within the boot budget of one second even when the database answers slowly.
The time from the launch of the application until that page is shown is written to the log file
and names the budget when a start missed it. - The Audit Trails page no longer reads and renders the whole history at once: it shows the newest
50 records of the selected period and appends the next 50 with a "Load more" button, which is
replaced by an end-of-list hint once the trail is exhausted. Changing the period or the trail type
restarts the list at the first 50 records. Cursor paging reaches beyond 5,000 records, and a failed
next page keeps the loaded records visible for a retry. - Bumped the application version to 0.2.3.
Upgrade impact
Install or upgrade with the installer or the portable archive of this release; docs/installation.md describes both. The database schema is not migrated by an installation: a shared database is migrated deliberately through the migrate_production_database input of the Release workflow.
