Browser Extension Beta
PolicyWatcher Browser Evidence Companion 3.8.3 Beta 3 helps a person move from an opened terms or privacy update notice to available PolicyWatcher evidence without uploading the raw message.
The installed name is PolicyWatcher: What changed? BETA; the Italian name is PolicyWatcher: Cosa è cambiato? BETA. Beta 3 replaces the earlier Beta 2 store package.
This is pre-release software for controlled testing. Extraction and evidence can be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. The extension is informational only, is not legal advice, and does not authenticate an email or prove that a policy changed.
Do not test with confidential, health, financial, employment or authentication communications. Do not attach private message content to feedback reports.
- Open a policy-update notice or public policy page.
- Invoke the extension and read the first-use Beta/privacy disclosure.
- After explicit confirmation, the extension temporarily inspects the selected or visible content in the active tab.
- Review the organization, sender domain, one cleaned starting URL, policy categories and dates.
- Submit only the confirmed structured clues to PolicyWatcher.
- Receive published evidence, a monitored-without-comparison explanation, an ambiguity/conflict state, or a privacy-minimized human-review reference.
The notice is a starting signal. PolicyWatcher checks the company’s available monitored portfolio; a first baseline describes current text and cannot prove a historical change.
- raw message/page text;
- subject and recipient;
- email addresses;
- attachments and screenshots;
- authentication data;
- content fingerprints.
- organization or registrable sender domain;
- one direct policy URL without query, fragment or credentials;
- policy categories;
- notice and effective dates;
- interface language.
The production service may process an IP address transiently for security logging and rate limiting. It is not used for profiling, advertising or extension analytics.

This page preserves the original Beta package and test-cycle description. The current application source labels Chrome and Edge as store-published and Safari as unavailable. Consult the live extension page for the actual installation links; the following historical preparation steps do not describe the current store state.
- Chrome: Beta ZIP prepared for Chrome Web Store review.
- Microsoft Edge: Beta ZIP prepared for Edge Add-ons review.
- Safari: shared source prepared for Apple’s Safari Web Extension packager; signing and TestFlight/App Store packaging require the publisher’s Apple Developer account.
The website shows “Beta package ready · store submission planned” until a submission is actually active. Official installation actions appear only after the corresponding reviewed store URL is configured.
The first technical receipt is complete: Chromium loaded the real service worker and rendered the disclosure, Beta label, capture flow, review flow and privacy boundary. This automated smoke does not complete the real-user Beta cycle.
Stable promotion remains blocked until the restricted pilot has run for at least seven days, includes at least five invited testers and twenty privacy-safe checks, has no open P0/P1 finding and satisfies the documented privacy/runtime exit criteria.
Use the signed or store-reviewed build when available. Developer-mode ZIP installation is for controlled technical testing only and is not the recommended end-user flow.

Before inviting external testers, create and verify a dedicated Beta feedback mailbox. Feedback must not contain raw or confidential communication content. Store/TestFlight activation still requires the authenticated publisher accounts and Apple signing assets.
