ScreenKit v2.1.0 — Go Live
Version code: 8 · Android 7.0+
New
- Stream your screen to YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or a custom RTMP/RTMPS destination using a server URL and stream key.
- Choose resolution, frame rate, video bitrate, and microphone/device/mixed audio. A silent AAC track is sent when sound is off.
- Live connection status, elapsed time, and outgoing bitrate in the app and floating controls; mute/unmute and end-stream actions in the app, bubble, and notification.
- Masked, memory-only stream keys; privacy confirmation before Android screen-sharing consent.
- TLS certificate chain and hostname verification, credential-safe transport logging, bounded buffering, connection timeout, and cleanup on stop/disconnect.
Start streaming
- Create a broadcast in your platform's live dashboard.
- Open Go Live in ScreenKit and paste the server URL and stream key separately.
- Choose quality and sound, then approve Android screen sharing.
- Check the platform's preview and click its final Go Live button if required.
Important
- Encoder connection success is not confirmation that your broadcast is publicly live. Platform eligibility rules still apply.
- Screen streaming only; one destination at a time. No simultaneous local MP4 recording or automatic reconnection.
- Visible overlays and notifications can be broadcast. Device audio needs Android 10+ and source-app playback-capture permission; DRM/protected content cannot be streamed.
- Stream keys are not saved. Re-enter the key for each new broadcast.
- This APK is the project's debug build, not a store-signed production release.
Validation
All 16 automated tests and APK compilation passed, including real local TLS handshakes, hostname rejection, URL token preservation, and AVC packetization.

Actual Android-device streaming to YouTube/Facebook has not been verified in this environment. Start with a private/unlisted test broadcast.
