Current for After Effects is now a compact CEP HTML/CSS/SVG panel, replacing the superseded ScriptUI preview. Download Setup, approve the Windows administrator prompt and restart AE, then open Window > Extensions > Current. It installs under Common Files (x86)/Adobe/CEP/extensions/com.shauncreates.current. This unsigned development preview offers an explicit PlayerDebugMode option if unsigned panels are not already enabled.

Live verification in After Effects 26.5 / CEP 12: opened the installed panel; 20 repeated handle drags completed, followed by successful Bezier easing and Spring application (29 generated keys). Browser tests also cover no host calls on drag, responsive sizes, graph modes and list import. Host tests cover bounded input, headless loading, interchange and approximation notices.

Found the old ScriptUI preview's blocking error: graph.notify is undefined. Close/remove that old Current.jsx panel. The updated root JSX directs After Effects users to CEP; its ScriptUI route remains legacy compatibility for EffectCraft.

Important host distinction: normal EffectCraft and current AfterCraft do not have a CEP runtime. This CEP package is for After Effects. AfterCraft has a native Current panel; its actual installer test rejected the CEP ZIP with an unavailable-runtime error. A shared HTML bridge or general CEP host is separate implementation work, not claimed by this release.

Default graphs and multiple custom tabs, .current selected-list files, .flow Bezier import/export with skipped-curve reporting, Spring/Elastic/Bounce and endpoint notices are included. Local debugging is disabled by default. No vendor source/assets are bundled. Read RESEARCH.md for REA scope and limitations.
