To make sure the installation is done properly,

python manage.py runserver

Database

Migrations are Django’s way of propagating changes you make to your models (adding a field, deleting a model, etc.) into your database schema. They’re designed to be mostly automatic, but you’ll need to know when to make migrations, when to run them, and the common problems you might run into.

what migrations will do is,

  1. It will go to settings.py and get INSTALLED_APPS
  2. within these installed apps directory it will go to models and create schema for whatever class you have specified.
cd connectnest
# responsible for applying and unapplying migrations.
python manage.py makemigrations
