ADI-2-Pi 1.0.1
ADI-2-Pi 1.0.1
- ADI-2/4 Pro SE: Line Out Ref Level now has its five values (+1, +7, +13, +19, +24 dBu). 1.0.0 used the ADI-2 Pro's four, so the level was shown and set one step off (a unit at +7 dBu showed +13 dBu).
- State tab: output level in dBu for the phones of the ADI-2/4 Pro models (IEM +1, Lo-Power +7, Hi-Power +19 dBu; balanced +6 dB).
- ADI-2/4 Pro EX: expected to work as the 2/4 Pro SE (same MIDI device ID, as with the ADI-2 Pro EX), untested. Settings the EX adds whose MIDI values RME hasn't documented (input Ref Level −5 … −35 dBu, RIAA 0 dB, DC Filter ADC, Bal. Impedance, Phones 3/4 Source ADAT 3/4, RIAA key functions) are shown as
#<number>and listed under Debug → Settings ADI-2-Pi can't name yet.
Update: unpack and run sudo ./install.sh again; settings are kept.
ADI-2-Pi 1.0.0
ADI-2-Pi 1.0.0
Network remote and audio bridge for RME ADI-2 series converters (ADI-2 DAC, ADI-2 Pro / Pro EX, ADI-2/4 Pro SE) on a Raspberry Pi with Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm or Trixie.
Features
- Web interface for all output, input and device settings, parametric EQ, bass/treble, loudness, setups and the unit's 20 EQ presets
- WebSocket/HTTP API (
docs/API.md), reference clientclients/adi2pi-client.js, mDNS service_adi2._tcp - Volume limit per output, rise-speed limit, linked volumes
- Bluetooth A2DP in both directions on the built-in adapter (LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, SBC-XQ, SBC)
- Network receivers: AirPlay (AirPlay 2 optional), UPnP/DLNA, Squeezelite, Snapcast; Spotify Connect and Roon Bridge as install options
- Source arbitration (newest source or mix), sample rate follow or fixed, automatic output Source switching to USB during playback
- Headphone EQ Generator for ADI-2 and TotalMix FX Room EQ with bundled oratory1990 measurements (AutoEq)
- Optional shutdown with the ADI-2: USB connection lost, or 12 V Trigger Out on a GPIO
- Waveshare UPS HAT (B/C/D/E): detected by the installer; battery and power on the System tab, shutdown on battery
- Volume of AirPlay and Spotify Connect senders sets the ADI-2's volume (optional)
- Start volume: outputs turned down to a set level when the unit is switched on
- Scenes, actions on events (Bluetooth device, playback start/stop, time of day, unit on), sleep timer
- Backup and restore of unit settings, EQ presets, setup names and bridge settings
- Optional access key for the API and the web interface
- MQTT with Home Assistant discovery
- Optional update check (off by default): shows when a newer release is on GitHub; nothing is downloaded or installed
- Quick levels: volume buttons per output
- Headphone profiles: EQ, bass/treble, loudness, crossfeed and a volume limit per headphone, applied to any output; shared with apps and MQTT
- Actions on: a digital input getting or losing its signal (Pro models), the Pi being idle for a set time; time actions with an end time and a second scene
- Access key "changes only": the page and the state are visible without the key, changes need it
- Now playing: title, artist, album and play state from AirPlay (with cover art), Spotify Connect and Bluetooth, on the Pi Playback tab, in the API and as an MQTT sensor
- Web page in English and German; other languages as one JSON file each (web/lang/README.md)
- No npm dependencies; no external resources at runtime
