@shinhanseo shinhanseo released this 02 Nov 06:35

Mote 0.4.1 — Fix for stale input-wait indicators.

  • Fixes old unanswered async questions staying marked as waiting after a new chat turn begins, including ordinary text replies and reconnects.

  • Keeps genuine current-turn input and approval requests visible.

  • 기존 질문에 일반 채팅으로 답한 뒤에도 남던 ‘답변 대기’ 오탐을 수정했어요.

  • Mote 0.4.0 users can install this update from “Check for updates and install” inside Mote. Users on 0.3.1 or earlier need to replace the app manually once.

  • Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel.

  • Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, and tickets stapled.

  • Open the DMG and drag Mote into Applications. Launch Codex Desktop before using Mote.

  • Mote reads Codex local records; compatibility may change with Codex updates.

Checksums are provided in SHA256SUMS.txt.

@shinhanseo shinhanseo released this 02 Nov 04:50

Mote 0.3.1 — published release updates and a refreshed bilingual guide.

  • Update checks now compare published release versions, not source commits. Website-only changes no longer look like app updates.
  • Open release notes or download the matching DMG from Mote Settings. A compact notice appears when a newer release is available.
  • Optional automatic checks run every six hours while Mote is running. Disabled by default. Checks contact public GitHub releases only and send no chat content.
  • Installation remains manual: quit Mote, replace the app in Applications, and reopen it. Settings are kept.
  • Korean and English website guides now cover reminders, snooze, shortcuts, privacy, usage warnings, away summaries, and network-path status, with updated demo states.

Requires macOS 14+, Apple Silicon or Intel, and Codex Desktop. Developer ID signed, Apple notarized, and stapled. SHA256SUMS.txt is included.

Existing 0.2.0/0.3.0 users: download this release from the website once to receive the new release checker. This is not an automatic installer.

Monitoring uses local Codex data and a private live format; Codex updates may require compatibility fixes. Usage is a local snapshot, not a live billing query. Reset notices use scheduled reset times. Snooze and monitoring require Mote to remain running. Mote does not approve or answer for you.
