Warmstart v0.3.13

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 25 Oct 21:00

Upgrading from v0.3.12

On first start, migration 93 updates saved Antigravity worker selections from Claude 4.6 to Claude 5.5. Explicit effort choices, tags and Auto settings are preserved; task pins and history stay as recorded.

What's new

  • Antigravity models: the catalog follows agy 1.4.5, with Gemini 4 Argon, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Claude Sonnet/Opus 5.5 and GPT-OSS 120B.
  • Argon quota: the fleet strip reads agy 1.4.7's independent Argon weekly allowance alongside the Gemini windows. Compact cards group quota columns by pool.
  • Delayed split approvals: approving a delegation after the asking call has ended is recorded for the resumed agent; identical requests reuse the approval instead of raising another card.
  • When done: failed power actions show the operating system's explanation, and unavailable actions are removed from the menu.

Known problems

  • Live dispatch on the newly listed Antigravity model/effort pairs has not been measured. Argon's context window, token prices and benchmark prior remain unknown.
  • Antigravity Trial Pro quota sharing remains unmeasured.
  • warmstart-agent has been tested through its shims against a live daemon, but a real Antigravity task in the packaged app remains unverified.
  • Push CI covers Windows and Linux; macOS regressions are not ruled out by a green push run.

Verify your download

Every artifact is checksummed in SHA256SUMS.txt.

Each one also carries a signed build attestation tying it to the commit and workflow run that
produced it:

gh attestation verify <file> --repo shyoo/warmstart

Windows

Builds are unsigned, so SmartScreen will warn: More info → Run anyway. Verify the
checksum above if you would rather not take it on trust.

macOS

Apple Silicon and Intel builds are both provided.

Pre-alpha. Expect rough edges, and please report them.

Warmstart v0.3.12

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 19 Oct 02:19

Upgrading from v0.3.11

Nothing to do. The data directory and app id are unchanged. Migration 92 adds one nullable column (questions.action_json) on first start; it replays safely, and every existing question keeps it null.

What's new

  • Worker tools without MCP: Antigravity (agy), which has no MCP support, now gets the full worker tool set as a warmstart-agent shell command: task completion, questions, directory requests, splits and the rest. Each session has its own token, and calls are accepted only while that session has an open run, at most 30 a minute. A call that has to wait on a person files its card and ends the run, and answering the card picks the work back up. The TASK COMPLETE / NEEDS DECISION lines still work as a fallback.
  • Fleet density: a new compact single-line mode (32 px cards, with quota windows stacked inside the row) joins narrow and wide. The density switcher is now three icon buttons, right-aligned, and remembers your choice.
  • In-app confirmations: the desktop app's native confirmation dialogs are replaced by in-app choices.
  • Antigravity usage: quota readings work again on the agy build that draws its /usage panel by cursor address. Before this fix every probe on that build failed with "usage panel did not appear".
  • Antigravity models: pickers now offer only the models agy 1.3.5 lists (Gemini 3.8 Flash, Claude 4.6, GPT-OSS). Retired Gemini models are still priced and still accepted by name.
  • Codex: reconnect attempts are kept, and a terminal disconnect is retried instead of failing the run.
  • The title-row New task button is now blue.

Known problems

  • The Windows build is unsigned, so SmartScreen warns.
  • There is no macOS runner in CI, so a passing CI run does not rule out a macOS-only regression.
  • warmstart-agent has been tested against a live daemon through its shims, but has not yet run a real Antigravity task in the packaged app.

Warmstart v0.3.11

@github-actions github-actions released this 12 Oct 03:24

Upgrading from v0.3.10

Nothing to do. The data directory and app id are unchanged. Migration 90 rewrites each worker's single capability class and each task's stored class into model tags on first start; an untouched worker stays inert. It replays safely, but an older build opened on the same data afterwards has not been tried.

What's new

  • Model tags: a worker's (model, effort) row carries tags (Low/Med/High, or your own such as ZDR or Audio), and a task can require several at once. Capability tiers match as "any of", feature tags as "all of"; a tag written Tier:<name> is a custom tier. A task with no matching pair holds with a named reason instead of downgrading. Tags are editable in Settings > Workers, the composer and Reassign (including with Auto worker).
  • Scratchpad: open it from anywhere, per project or Global, with Move to project. The toolbar is simpler and shows save status as an icon. Send offers every open task thread in the project. Delete uses an in-app dialog.
  • Viewer pane: a full diff and single-file viewer. Changed markdown files appear as Artifacts chips and open rendered.
  • Responsiveness: less lag with many parallel tasks, and Global > Status can capture and export bounded performance timings.
  • Sidebar: a project shows a solid green dot when a task newly completes, cleared by clicking the project.
  • Composer: Worker, Model and Effort controls are consistent across plan modes; picking a model under Auto Worker pins a compatible worker. Tag controls size to content.
  • Models and adapters: GPT 6.1 Sol is added to Codex and is its default. Antigravity INTERNAL (code 500) now retries like a 503, and a reply sent into a running Antigravity turn says it waits for the turn to end.
  • Loose ends: work an open task already carries is no longer listed, and finished chains fold into one row.

Known problems

  • The Windows build is unsigned, so SmartScreen warns.
  • No macOS runner exists in CI, so a macOS-only regression is not ruled out by the CI tick.
  • Several of this series' changes were verified in tests but not driven in the app against live vendors, including multi-tag dispatch and the Antigravity retry.

@github-actions github-actions released this 10 Oct 19:26

Upgrading from v0.3.9

Nothing to do. The data directory and app id are unchanged. The database gains two additive migrations on first start; they replay safely, but an older build opened on the same data afterwards has not been tried.

What's new

  • Scratchpad: each project has a prompt Scratchpad of markdown cards, filed as a task or sent in one click. Cards have a status dropdown, accept pasted images, and settled cards move up. Earlier prompts stay above the open ones. The tab shows how many prompts are open. A card can be given a completion action, and a thread's side pane can be hidden or swapped for the Scratchpad.
  • Power action: one-time power action (for example shut down) that runs after queued work settles.
  • Prompts: task prompts are restructured so a recovery and the current request are told apart in long conversations.
  • Accounts and models: an expired subscription is found by probing, and a withdrawn Claude account reads as expired rather than "no usage data". Every worker shows one status. Claude Haiku 5.5 is a priced candidate model. Codex model availability updates on probe and when the plan changes.
  • Tasks and threads: a task is no longer filed pinned to a worker the composer shows as Auto. A reply box keeps what was typed until it is sent or emptied. A turn that ends with background jobs still running no longer reads "your turn". A reported-stuck task is handed over, with the stall CPU bar scaled to the window. A finished task's empty branch is retired without waiting under Loose ends.
  • Antigravity: a malformed conversation tool call restarts the session cold, and backscroll completion drops trailing vendor errors.
  • Analytics: Statistics can read the last 25% or 50% of finished tasks.
  • Interface: project tabs are reordered and carry pictograms. The Fleet card's status glyph sits beside Refresh.

Known problems

  • The Windows build is unsigned, so SmartScreen warns.
  • No macOS runner exists in CI, so a macOS-only regression is not ruled out by the CI tick.

@github-actions github-actions released this 07 Oct 15:31

What's new

  • Landing: merged work is no longer reported as "not landed" under Loose ends.
  • Tasks and threads: a task whose turn ended reads "turn ended" instead of "working", and is handed over to a person at 3 minutes. A task thread never shows, or sends to, a task other than the one its route names. The ledger's wants row is a clamped status, not a copy of the agent's last message.
  • Quota and routing: the quota gate card points at the composer instead of drawing its own reassign box, and the preemption wrap-up choices are drawn pressed rather than disabled.
  • Providers: an Antigravity 503 retries like any provider overload instead of going to a person. A Muse billing refusal names itself and holds the account for a person. A worker's model table lists only the models its plan offers.
  • Debates: a debate that split is not asked for its verdict again when the pieces settle.

Known problems

  • The Windows build is unsigned, so SmartScreen warns.
  • No macOS runner exists in CI, so a macOS-only regression is not ruled out by the CI tick.
