v0.1.11

Choose a tag to compare

@siagimir siagimir released this 28 Oct 20:29

README leads with the category, not the architecture:

  • New subhead and comparison paragraph: ChatGPT, Grok and Claude remember you, but that memory lives inside their app. Jargon moved below the anchor. Trigger: a real non-technical reader didn't know what the product was until the ChatGPT comparison was said out loud.
  • Quickstart step 1 offers two routes: download the ZIP (no login) or use the template (git, gets updates). The only first action was previously a GitHub login, which contradicted the page's own 'No account' promise.
  • Steps now 1-4; step 3 covers opening the folder AND picking a model, using OpenCode's own vocabulary (Projects -> Add project) plus /connect for terminal.

v0.1.10

Choose a tag to compare

@siagimir siagimir released this 28 Oct 13:49

Demo shows the lifecycle instead of claiming it:

  • New lesson (yellow-leaves-was-the-light) corrects the first one: October blamed the watering, the real cause was the north-facing kitchen.
  • The older lesson is now Status: superseded with a Superseded by pointer. Its content is untouched and still readable, which is the point: notes are marked, not deleted.
  • topic.md updated to match. Every demo note is no longer 'active', so the central promise is finally demonstrated in what you open on day one.

v0.1.8

Choose a tag to compare

@siagimir siagimir released this 28 Oct 01:48

Evidence-driven fixes from a 126-session persona study plus two expert reviews:

  • Show the enforcement: opencode.json is now in the landing-page folder tree, in README's What-you-get table with its real values, and in the tour §6 — the #1 objection was that safety guarantees had no mechanism behind them
  • Say where the text goes: one honest line in all three docs — the agent's reads go to the model you connected; the folder stays put
  • Split door from room (Path B): steps 1-4 once by someone technical, step 5 is yours, after that a bookmark — README Quickstart opens the same way
  • Stop handing rm -r to an agent: the tour asks your agent to remove the demo topic and confirms first
  • End the Tour/README bounce: the tour reads straight through with nothing installed

v0.1.7

Choose a tag to compare

@siagimir siagimir released this 27 Oct 22:44

Docs honesty: dropped the absolute 'never in a vendor's cloud' claim; README + quickstart now explain what 'private' means and to keep raw sensitive documents out of any cloud repo.

v0.1.6

Choose a tag to compare

@siagimir siagimir released this 27 Oct 19:01

README hero: 'Your memories, in files you own.' — mirrors the promo site; credibility line validated across all headline-experiment panels.

v0.1.5

Choose a tag to compare

@siagimir siagimir released this 27 Oct 18:53

README: first screen gains the AGENTS.md template phrasing and a link to the landing page.

v0.1.4

Choose a tag to compare

@siagimir siagimir released this 27 Oct 17:23

README quickstart: desktop app and web options alongside the terminal; Download ZIP for non-git users; prerequisites match the terminal-free daily-use story.

v0.1.3

Choose a tag to compare

@siagimir siagimir released this 27 Oct 17:18

README + tour: OpenCode as terminal, desktop app or web — daily use can be terminal-free; Finder-first viewing, Obsidian/Zed optional.
