v2.55.0

2.55.0 (2026-10-24)

Features

• select: whether the menu is down is told through onOpenChange, and held by an owner through open (#1010) (6817199)
• textinput: a field's selection is read and set from outside, through the DOM's selectionStart, selectionEnd, selectionDirection, setSelectionRange() and select() (#1006) (cfcfa07)

Bug Fixes

• cocoa: a <glarea> frame draws only into a buffer the render server has let go of, so a GL scene settling after a zoom is not shown as its clear colour for a frame (#1008) (5ad767f)
• frame: a right-click menu in a pane opens at the pointer, and the edit menu no longer scrolls a document to its top (#1009) (6c297fb)
