v0.9.4: webhooks follow status events, Herdr app docs
Desk finishes and blocks post to your webhook again, bercail doctor catches a silent follower, and the docs say which Herdr you need.
What changed
- Webhooks follow hc's status events.
hc eventssends one snapshot, then an event per change. The notify follower only read snapshots, so after the first line it never saw a desk finish or block, and nothing was posted. It now applies status events, looks up desks started after the snapshot withhc get, and forgets terminals that finish. bercail doctorflags a silent follower. The follower records when it started and the last finish or block it saw. Doctor warns when a live follower missed a desk going done or blocked, or still runs a bercail from before this release.bercail updaterestarts the notify follower when it's running, so it picks up new code without a manual restart.- The bercail layout needs the Herdr app, not the
herdrterminal (#12).bercail/RECIPE.mdhas a new "Needs" section (the Herdr app andhc, how to install them, and the versions it was checked with), and the README says the same. Whenherdris on PATH butherdr-appisn't, the dependency check andbercail doctorsay bercail needs the app. - README: new image and a clearer description of the desk agent.
Upgrading
mise up (or packslip install again), then bercail update. The update restarts the notify follower for you.
