Oh, that looks very unfun to work with! Nice work getting it to this stage 👍🏻 I am, though, seeing a few differences around the a lot of the edges (example from the bull's eye, with yours in red) when compared to the website logo. Maybe a precision issue when optimising? I also wonder if all those gaps in the wave are intentional or if it's something we could clean up? 🤔 I'll have a look at a can of Red Bull when I get to work in a couple of hours and see if that can clarify things. If not, I think the safer option is to run with them. There are probably a few duplicate or excess points we could get rid of, though. For the colour, I'm getting |

@PeterShaggyNoble Tried a few things but this one seems to be tricky. Perhaps take a quick look at the changes I pushed? Also, I've noticed that Red Bull has different variants of its logo. The one on their energy drinks and their Formula 1 team has the one with 2 bulls. Not sure what's the right one actually. |

Before even starting into the icon, I found 3 different official source quotes 3 different values for the hex of the primary red 🙄 So I quickly abandoned that endeavour! The one they use on the website is as good a choice as any.
In reviewing the latest version of the icon, I'm still seeing the same differences from the last review along with some new differences in the the bull. For me, the best attempt so far has been this one by Adam - it's not perfect in its alignment but the original itself is far from perfect, so, in the interest of getting this one off our plate after 2 and a half years(!), I think we allow ourselves a little bit of deviation on this one and run with it.
What do the other @simple-icons/maintainers think?
Yes... Let's merge with the closest looking one as the process of making it monochromatic is going to be different between 2 people. |
